In December 2007, a silver replica of the World War II-period Finnish air defence's relief ring decorated with a swastika became available as a part of a charity campaign.
To avoid misunderstandings, the swastika decorations were replaced by fir crosses at the decision of president in 1963 after it became known that the was uncomfortable with the swastika collar.
